I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona on an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and Arizona/NASA Space Grant Fellowship under the advisorship of Walt Harris. My current research centers on the Spatial Heterodyne Interferometric Molecular Cloud Observer (SHIMCO) sounding rocket mission, on which I am the lead graduate student. In this role, I lead the target selection, spectral modeling, and instrument modeling efforts, and contribute to others related to data transmission and optical design.

I earned my A.B. in Astrophysical Sciences at Princeton University. My senior thesis work, entitled "Thermal Imagery of Callisto Using ALMA Calibrator Data," was completed under the supervision of Professor Chris Chyba, Professor Katherine de Kleer, and Maria Camarca.

Outside research, I have a keen interest in educating the public and inspiring young people to pursue STEM careers. For instance, I am currently a graduate instructor with the University of Arizona Sky School. Beginning Fall 2025, I will also be co-developing the Other Worlds program designed to develop and deliver astrobiology-focused curricula to students in the Pima County juvenile detention center.
